Who you are

We're looking for an inspiring leader who is organised and has a passion for leading teams and projects from start to finish. You're good at building strong, trusting relationships and have a knack for bringing the right people together to successfully deliver projects.

You are a professional project manager or engineer with a strong track record of bringing innovative solutions to your clients and delivering complex projects across an array of sectors, including; transportation, utilities, roads, bridges & rails, ports & marine, industrial developments, as well as the ability to work with local and state governments.

You love variety in your work and when every day is different from the next. You're the kind of person who dives right in, learning as much as you can about a new client, a different industry or business, and you'll apply your knowledge and technical expertise to get the best results. You also maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, keeping them in mind for new business and sales opportunities.

What you bring

  • A degree in engineering, project management, or a similar combination of education and civil infrastructure experience;
  • Client relationship management experience, with proven ability to establish and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers;
  • Knowledge and experience of state government projects, procurement, public consultation, and financial processes;
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, design management and/or project management;
  • Demonstrated client-side project management or contract administration experience;
  • Good understanding of project management models;
  • Experience preparing construction contract specifications and scheduling projects;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Word and MS Excel;
  • A willingness to be involved in local communities.
